We’re now coming out of the dark ages wherein oncology massage historically has been considered a contraindication. Emerging is a holistic form of soft tissue therapy that engages the clients’ wellbeing both physically and emotionally.

But, what is integrative oncology massage? What makes it different from any form of massage?

In this presentation, originally recorded for The Jing Conference 2021, I’ll be talking about the importance of integrating a variety of touch therapies, recognising that massage is one of the best therapies for trauma survivors – cancer included.

The need for somatic work for recovery is vital – it is all about being able to get back into the body.
