Nicola Roberts

I’m Nicola Roberts, ScarWork, remedial, sports, therapeutic, oncology massage therapist, based in Cirencester. Whilst I initially trained in sports massage, my subsequent training to use different techniques, enables me to provide a bespoke and nurturing treatment working either on a specific area or the whole body, whether you are active/inactive, have cancer or have had cancer, complex medical conditions, surgeries/trauma/burns past or present. I provide a fuctional and therapeutic style of ScarWork and massage to calm mind and body, improve your immune system, reduce pain, increase movement or mobility with a specific focus on treating specific injuries/dysfunction using ScarWork, massage or dry needling techniques. Treatments will be completely tailored to ensure your needs are met according to your stage of health, whether thats over a single session or if a longer treatment plan is required. ScarWork, massage and/or dry needling can release soft tissue tension, relieve stiffness, decrease muscle spasms, release restrictions and soften and realign scar issue and loosen up adhesions, helping to restore optimal function. By releasing tension and restrictions in soft tissue, using a range of techniques, it can help to re-establish a balance in muscle function where needed and increase mobility and flexibility, ultimately reducing stress on joints and contribute to overall physical and emotional well being.
